YWAM turns 50!
YWAM began it's ministry in 1960, that makes this year a real year of celebration for us as we turn 50! Wherever you are, keep an eye out for celebrations in your region. Here in Sweden we have a double celebration of our 50th jubilee and Restenäs turning 30! There will be celebrations at Restenäs just after the national elections in September.
Haiti Earthquake relief
YWAM has been working in Haiti for many years. Our team in St Marc are about 100km from the epicentre and are working hard to bring aid and coordinate relief teams. Currently the YWAM Centre is housing many displaced people and is working with the local hospital to provide place for recovering patients that cannot stay in the hospital due to lack of space.
A team from YWAM San Diego/Baja has gone to Haiti to help relieve our local staff and are running a blog at ywamhaitioutreach.wordpress.com

Winter 2009/2010
Dalarna, and indeed most of Sweden, is looking like a winter wonderland!
Our DTS staff and students are on the outreach fieldtrip to Israel/Palestine.
We look forward to big changes in 2010. Our ministry will look different - we plan to 'multiply' our presence in Dalarna, starting with reducing our profile at Forsnäs. We will no longer use 'Forsnäshemmet' but remain at 'Torpet' instead. Later we will have a team in Falun and also purchase a church property in Kvarnsveden, Borlänge.
Please pray for us as we move into transition, for financial provision and for new staff!
